Eligibility Requirements

Runners are eligible to register for the BQ.2 Marathon Races if they meet or beat the times listed below.
Requirements are based on your age on Boston race day, not on BQ.2 race day.

Eligibility requirements will be waived if the race is not filled by February 1st.

Important Eligibility Information

– Eligibility result must be in a USATF Certified race. International results must be a recognized certified race.
– Complete in-person race online results only, no partial or splits or virtual races.
– There are absolutely NO exceptions to the eligibility requirements until eligibility is waived. See above for dates.
– BQ.2 Marathon Races have a 4:30 cutoff.
